Andy Buckley

Comedian, Actor & Senior Financial Advisor (In real life)

CFO of Dunder Mifflin on NBC's "The Office"

For the last decade, Andy Buckley served as a Financial Advisor at a major bank, part of group managing over $400M in personal assets. This was perfect background material for his fictional role as, David Wallace, CFO of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, playing opposite Steve Carrell on NBC’s hit comedy The Office.

Since The Office he's done recurring roles on HBO's hit comedies VEEP and Silicon Valley. Presently, Buckley has a recurring role as Tech Billionaire Richard Elia on the hit CBS show SCORPION. Recent roles include Bravo's first scripted comedy ODD MOM OUT, a Sex in the City type comedy set in the moneyed world of NYC's Upper East Side. As well, Buckley had a good supporting role in the much anticipated JURASSIC WORLD film.

Additionally, Andy has had supporting roles alongside Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg in ‘The Other Guys’ and in ‘Life As We Know It’ opposite Katherine Heigl & Josh Duhamel. He still keeps his position at the bank.

Born in Boston, Buckley spent time growing up in St. Louis, Chicago, South Florida. He attended Stanford where played on the golf team his first two years at school. He’s married with a son and resides in Los Angeles.

Rich is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AdvisorEngine. He sets the company’s vision and strategy. 

Rich brings over 25 years of experience building wealth management technology. Prior to founding AdvisorEngine, Rich served as a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was Head of the RIA custody business and responsible for developing their Global Wealth and Investment Management financial planning and reporting tools. Before that, Rich created industry-leading solutions for J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns and DLJDirect. Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College.

Craig Ramsey

COO @ AdvisorEngine

Craig translates vision into action – ensuring alignment and driving operational excellence across the company.  He leads the executive management committee and helps the team measure success to stay on track.  

Craig is a business builder with a background in corporate strategy, investment banking and consulting. He joined AdvisorEngine from WisdomTree – a global asset manager driven by research and technology (NASDAQ: WETF) – where he led strategy, helped establish an international presence and pushed the company beyond ETFs into technology solutions. Craig has prior experience at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Accenture and UBS. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and completed coursework at London School of Economics and Peking University in Beijing. Craig serves on the advisory board for Back on My Feet, a nonprofit which combats homelessness through running and community support.

Nicole Frey

Nicole is a Project Manager at Succession Resource Group. She plays an instrumental role in the success of their clients' projects. Until her relocation to Oregon in 2014, Nicole worked as a senior legal assistant for a law firm in Washington for seven years where she managed multiple cases, communicated with clients/courts/government agencies, as well as drafted pleadings and legal notices. Nicole brings extensive experience in contract preparation, financial services industry expertise, and project management to SRG clients. As part of the SRG team, she focuses on helping clients with succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, entity and employment-related projects, and contingency planning for death and disability of the owner.

John Turner

John Turner joined Live Oak Bank with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Live Oak Bank, John ran a successful practice as a financial advisor in the Midwest. He went on to hold several executive positions within the two largest broker dealers in the industry and the largest fraternal benefit society. John’s latest position before joining Live Oak Bank included leading a practice management department where he developed a deep expertise in practice staffing, practice financial management, practice acquisitions and succession planning.

Gerard Michael

As President of Smartleaf, Inc., Gerard (Jerry) Michael is focused on bringing portfolio rebalancing automation to a new level, one that supports unprecedentedly high levels of customization and tax optimization at scale.

More than 20 years ago, Jerry and his co-founders researched how to invest their own assets and discovered that there were no low cost solutions that provided tax optimization and customization. They set out to take the type of portfolio management techniques used by the ultra-wealthy and automate them so that all investors, large and small, could have better portfolio management. As president and cofounder of Smartleaf, his goal is to continue building the Smartleaf solution to allow firms to deliver higher quality portfolios management at lower cost.

Jerry is also the President of Smartleaf Asset Management, a fully owned subsidiary of Smartleaf, Inc. Before founding Smartleaf, Jerry was a founder and director of Crimson & Brown Associates, which was sold to a division of the Washington Post, providing a tenfold return to its investors.

As CIO of AdvisorEngine, Raj manages all technology efforts that help run, grow and transform the AdvisorEngine solutions.

Raj brings over 25 years of experience in the technology financial services industry in Wealth Management, Strategic Technology & Architecture, Treasury Services and Primary & Secondary Securities Market. Prior to joining AdvisorEngine, Raj was a Managing Director at Pershing’s BNY Mellon and managed the Common Services, Architecture and Innovation division. Along with managing many teams, Raj was the Pershing Digital Officer, a Technology Executive Committee member, and a Technology Priority Committee member. During his time in Pershing, Raj also created the Advanced Technology Labs that produced multiple innovations for Pershing solutions. Raj holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts and Media, a Certificate in Finance and a Series 7 & 24.

Beth Haddock

Beth Haddock serves as Chief Legal Officer of AdvisorEngine. She develops and leads our corporate legal strategy and serves as a member of the executive management team.

Beth has been dedicated to regulation and financial services for 20+ years: as a litigator, legislative aide on Capitol Hill and lead corporate attorney and compliance officer at global and early-stage financial services and fintech companies including AXA Financial, Brown Brothers Harriman and Guggenheim Investments. Beth is active in the legal and regulatory compliance field as an author, speaker, trustee and Chair of NSCP Fintech and Blockchain Forum.

Pat Arnold

As head of product, Patrick sits at the intersection of product strategy, software development, design, and business development, helping shape products that solve real problems.

Patrick draws on more than 20 years of experience in portfolio management to drive innovation and help shape industry leading products for the wealth management space. He is responsible for taking ideas from conception to launch, participating in all phases of the software life-cycle, and working with agile software teams to design, develop and ship new solutions. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton. 

George Tamer

Head of Sales @ AdvisorEngine

George has spent his career helping wealth management firms use technology to achieve their strategic objectives. As Head of Sales, he uses a consultative approach to match client needs with AdvisorEngine capabilities. His responsibilities include driving sales and relationship management.

Over the last 25+ years, he has visited thousands of advisor offices gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing financial advisors. He has a track record of delivering positive results through partnering and collaboration with clients and prospects.

Prior to joining us, George was managing director at TD Ameritrade Institutional. In this role, he led the sales and relationship management team, including practice management, wealth management and technology consulting.

David Coyle

SVP & Head of Business Development @ AdvisorEngine

David is responsible for all aspects of business development including client relationships and partnership opportunities. He works with advisors in the Eastern and Midwestern United States.

David has a unique blend of technology and business knowledge gained from more than 20 years of experience in the financial and wealth management industry. Prior to joining AdvisorEngine, David worked as part of the wealth management team for Interactive Data Corporation—helping financial services and wealth management firms to provide market data, mobile tools and web tools to customers and financial professionals. David also served in business development and sales roles with BlackBerry, Outercurve Technologies and Northstar System, though he began his career as a private client advisor with Merrill Lynch. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Messiah College.

Kathy Crowley

Kathy is responsible for all business development aspects for our Junxure product. She helps financial advisors deepen client relationships and run better businesses through our award-winning CRM software.

Kathy brings over 20 years of technology sales and personnel management experience. She has a proven track record of building and leading sales organizations. Kathy spends her days sharing the incredible value of Junxure with advisory firms. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to helping firms recognize the need for a CRM and how our solution can be the best choice for them. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Carolina University.
